Polishing concrete is similar to sanding wood. Heavy duty propane powered polishing machines grind down surfaces to the desired degree of shine and smoothness.
The process begins with the use of progressively finer diamond impregnated metallic discs to remove pits, stains, or coatings from the concrete. This is followed up by polishing the surface to the desired finish with diamond impregnated resin discs.
Lastly, we apply a chemical densifier to the concrete. This increases strength and hardness, while also permanently sealing and protecting the floor.
In addition, we can stain or dye the concrete one or a combination of many different colors, giving you the exact look you want.
